Directions for use: Protect any area underneath from drips or splatters. Shake well before opening. For a perfectly vintage look, apply glaze with a nylon brush and have a damp cloth ready to blend or erase. Brush on the glaze in one direction (no circles), being sure to work glaze into all cracks for dimension. Use the damp cloth (rinse and wring dry) to gently wipe glaze away until your desired look is achieved. If product begins to dry before you have achieved desired look, simply spritz on some water or moisten your cloth a bit more and continue working . Allow to dry and apply additional coats for a more dramatic impact. When you've achieved the look you love, seal your project with Tuff Top, Flat Top, or a W.A.S.H. (wax alternative sealer hardener). Care for your new finish with the Everyday All-Purposed Cleaner or Weekly Multi-Surface Protectant.
Pro Tip: Allow the paint to dry overnight before applying glaze. Applying glaze to freshly painted surfaces can reactivate the paint and cause it to rub off or peel. If glaze seems too dark or uneven, use the original paint color and gently dry brush over dark areas. Instead of a cloth, you can use a large soft-bristle brush to feather out the finish on your glaze for a super soft & subtly-aged look. A chip brush is recommended when doing the dry brush technique. Continue dry brushing lightly in long strokes until you achieve the desired look.
