Part Time Retail Associate

Are you a creative and enthusiastic individual with prior customer service experience in the retail industry? Our small business in Burlington is growing and we are looking for a part-time Retail Associate to join our team. Our ideal candidate will understand the importance and value of shopping and supporting small business and have a passion for unique handmade, upcycled, and vintage finds.

Flippin’ Fabulous is an award-winning small business offering a curated collection of handmade home décor, refinished furniture, apparel, accessories, and gifts.  Discover unique treasures including collectible, upcycled, and vintage finds. Meet talented local artisans during one of our makers markets or spark your creativity during one of our classes, workshops, or other special events held throughout the year. Flippin' Fabulous is your one-stop shop with something for everyone.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service while welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly and helpful manner
• Process sales transactions, accept payments, and finalize purchases while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Assist with merchandise displays, restocks, and ensure products are properly displayed
• Organize and maintain a visually appealing store environment
• Address any customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently and professionally

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
• High level of attention to detail
• Flexible schedule and able to manage changes to job responsibilities, workload, and schedule
• Proficient in point-of-sale system and other software
• Retail experience strongly preferred, but not required

Availability:

• Part-time with 6-10 hours per week minimum
• Must be available to work either Wednesday 1p-5pm or Sunday 10a-12p (both is preferred)
• Option to work additional hours as needed during peak-season and/or special events to include evening and/or weekend hours
